Cube World: First Quests

あの『Minecraft』や『3Dドットゲームヒーローズ』に共通するボクセルスタイルのステージ環境に、RPGの要素を加えたインディー系の新タイトル『Cube World』。本作の開発ブログにて新たなゲームプレイ動画が公開されました。

この動画では、特定の敵を指定数倒して経験値を得るという基本的なクエストシステムを紹介。クエストはランダム生成される仕組みで、今後はさらに複雑な内容のものも追加していくようです。また、片手武器と盾、両手持ち武器等を使った戦闘要素も解説されています。

今週入ったニュースによると、『Minecraft』の開発元Mojangが、本作の開発者であるWollay氏を新たなプロジェクトのために起用したとのこと。詳しい計画の内容は分かっていませんが、『Cube World』の開発に影響はないと言われています。
