Minecon 2015 はリアルタイムでのイベントなので、お知らせだけ。一応公式のお知らせも出ているけど、時間がかかって遅れそうな公式の訳とかはやめ

リンク先にいくと、マインクラフトの開発元の Mojang が毎年開催しているイベント Minecon の様子がライブで見ることができます。開催は7月4日の 10am GMT から。そう既に開始されてしまっているんだ。Minecon 2015 は 4日から5日にかけて二日間という長いイベントなので週末はまだまだ放送されていると思う。というか長すぎて全部は見ていられないくらい延々やっている。あと、英語なので正直よく分らない所も多い。イベント会場がロンドンと時差が10時間くらいあるので日本では5日終わるというより半日ずれて6日に終わる感じになるかも。

Minecraft のスキンやマップ、セーブデータなどを投稿したりダウンロードしたり出来る便利サイト Planet minecraft で「Head into the Clouds」という Minecraft の建築コンテストが行われていたというニュース記事を見たので紹介。ユーザーが選ぶ仕組みのようで、建築コンテストの入賞者の動画もあるようなので並べてみる事に。

Mojang は今年で3回目となる MINECONを開催するようです。チケットは既に売切れてしまっているようですが、去年同様 Live stream なども予定さているようです。

This year we’re holding our third MINECON event, and now that tickets are sold out and we are deep into planning I thought I’d give a little bit more info into the event and how/why we do some of the things we do for it.

MINECON is exciting to us. It’s a chance to bring together thousands of Minecraft players all in one place and give them a chance to meet each other and Mojang, and give people a really amazing experience involving a game that is so integrated into our lives.

We’ve been getting tons of questions about MineCon. So I wanted to give a quick update.

– MineCon will most definitely be THIS year and it will be in Europe.

Minecraft コミュニティの記念、Minecraft 正式版リリース(2011/11/11に正式版ンリリース)記念、競技会の実施、興味深い人達を呼んで行われるトークショウ、そして単純に素晴らしい時間。チケットは 10 月以前に買えば 99 ドル。 Steave の頭も売ってるよ！

We’ll be celebrating the community, celebrating the release of the full version of Minecraft, doing competitions, listening to interesting people talk, and just generally having a great time. Tickets are 99 dollars if you buy them before October.

MinecraftCon 2011 in Vegas?

So we’re thinking of perhaps setting up a MinecraftCon in Las Vegas on 2011/11/11, with all of Mojang going there, and us pushing out the final release live on stage or something.

2011/11/11 に正式版をリリース予定の Minecraft だが、ラスベガスで MinecraftCon を開催し最終リリースのライブか何かをステージでやろうと考えているとの事。ただし、ラスベガスでのイベントはまだ予定段階のようで、Notch 氏のブログで旅費を含まずに 90 ドルくらい必要だけど来る人がいるのかアンケートを取っている。

Game Developers Coice Awards 2011

　米サンフランシスコにて開催中の 「Game Developers Conference 2011」。 3月3日（日本時間）には開発者によって選出される「Game Developers Coice Awards（GDCアワード）」の授賞式が行われ、RockStar Gamesの「レッド・デッド・リデンプション」がゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤーに輝いたほか、インディーズゲームながら「Minecraft」がイノベーション・アワードなど3部門で最優秀賞を獲得し注目を集めました。

Minecraft が受賞したのは以下の3部門。

• Best Debut Game（新規タイトル賞）：「Minecraft」（Mojang）
• Innovation Award（イノベーション賞）：「Minecraft」（Mojang）

　『レッド・デッド・リデンプション』 (Rockstar San Diego)に次ぐ3部門制覇というのはインディーズゲームとしては異例といっていいだろう。また日本の作品は一つも受賞がなかった。
