任天堂の WiiU で動く「Minecraft: Wii U Edition」が12月17日（木）に発売されるらしい。任天堂からも発売された事で PS、XBOX、WiiU と主要な家庭用ゲーム機メーカーでは大体 Minecraft が動くようになった。

I bring exciting news!

That’s a surprise, eh?* Anyway, now it’s 100% official. Minecraft is launching on Nintendo’s Wii U console on December 17th. It’ll cost $29:99 or equivalent, will be available to download on the eShop, and comes bundled with six of our most popular add-on packs. There’s even a Festive mash-up included just in time for the holidays.

We’ll be adding more content packs to Wii U Edition in the near future (Wa-hoo!), and updating the core game with free updates, just like our other platforms. As a quick reminder: all DLC packs are optional. You can have significant amounts of fun playing Minecraft without spending extra cash.

Minecraft: Wii U Edition will also feature off-TV play, so you can continue playing on the Gamepad when other people want to use the TV for less fun things like movies or other video games.

We’ll have more to share on Minecraft: Wii U Edition closer to its release. Looking forward to welcoming you to the world of Minecraft, Nintendo fans!

どこでも掘れる！ ウェブサイトを「マインクラフト化」

ツルハシを手に取れ！

クリエイト系箱庭ゲーム『マインクラフト』をやり過ぎると、現実世界でもツルハシで掘り進めるんじゃないか、という錯覚に襲われますよね。私もそのうちの一人ですが、先日ソニーが自らのFacebookページでウェブサイトを「マインクラフト化するブラウザ版『マインクラフト』を公開しました。

1. アメリカのソニーモバイルのフェイスブックにある、Minecraft Anywhereのページヘアクセス。（https://www.facebook.com/sonymobileus?sk=app_161940370565927）
2. Xperia Playの形をした「MINECRAFT」と描かれたボタンを、ドラッグ＆ドロップで、ブラウザのブックマークバーかお気に入りに登録。
3. マインクラフトの世界を解き放つ準備は出来ました。お好みのウェブサイトを開いた状態で、先程ブックマークバーもしくはお気に入りに登録した、マインクラフトのボタン(サイト）を開きます。
4.サイト上にXperia Playの形をした「MINECRAFT」と描かれた画像が登場したらOK。下のメニューにある「Get Your Pick Axe」でツルハシを取り、ウェブサイトを掘りましょう！「Unlease the creeper」でウェブサイト上にクリーパーを解き放ち、爆破することもできます。ちなみにクリーパーはカーソルを追尾して、カーソルに近づくと爆発しますよ。下のメニューが消えてしまったら、「Show Control」で再表示させられます。遊び飽きたら「Exit」でマインクラフト化終了。

Minecraft Pocket edition の トレイラー動画が Mojang 公式ページで出されていたので紹介。Pocket Edition は 10月 7日に Android 2.2 上で動くものがリリースされたとか。日本の携帯電話でも動くのかどうかは不明。動画などでは一応 Sony の携帯電話が何度か出てくることはあった

Minecraft エディションの Sony Ericsson Xperia Play が eBay で販売されており、高値を付けているという話。どうして、eBayで売られているのかはよく知らないが、限定バージョンで、しかも Mojang 関係のグッズと言う事で妙に人気が出ているらしい。今見た所、落札までの残り時間は3時間程。

Minecraft Limited Edition Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

Minecraft 仕様に仕立てたこの逸品は、熱狂的ファンの手によるものではなく、Minecraft を開発する Mojang 自らがデザインしたもの。

この世界に何台あるのかも不明で、運の良い人だけがまもなく開幕のゲームイベント Gamescom で景品として手に入れられるはずです。ただし、先行して1台だけがオークションサイト eBay に出品中。すでに入札は50件を、入札額は1300ドルを超えています。

ちなみに、今見てみた所、US $1,525.00 という値段をつけている。

Kotaku Japan によると、モバイル版 Minecraft が PSフォンで出るかもしれないそうだ。しかし、PSフォンというのは少し気になる。NGP は日本でもよく話題になるが、PSフォンは今一つ。日本では全く売れる要素がなかった PSP go と同じ扱いをされており、PSフォンの評判はあまり芳しくないような気がする。

もしかしたらE3でソニー・エリクソンが発表するのはPSフォン「Xperia Play」用の『Minecraft』かもしれません。トップ画像はE3への招待状なのですが、そこには『Minecraft』の画像と「クリーパー（『Minecraft』の敵キャラ）を寄せ付けない」と書かれています。
