公式ブログで「Let’s talk promotions built into Minecraft」というタイトルの投稿がされており、マインクラフトの商業利用に関するガイドラインが更新されたらしい。以前もこの手の細かい話はいつもの適当な訳では困るので、毎回なるべく原文を参照するように繰り返してきたが、マイクロソフトに買収されたおかげか、今回の変更は公式に日本語でもガイドラインが作られているので日本人に優しくなった気がする。「Minecraft の商業目的使用に関するガイドライン」を Mojang の公式サイトで見ることが出来る。さり気なく「MINECRAFT エンド ユーザー ライセンス条項」も最終更新日が変わっているので、気になる人は合わせて読むと良いかも。

今回変更された主な部分は企業や団体による「Minecraft のゲームプレイを利用して関連性のない製品、キャンペーンまたはサービスの宣伝およびマーケティングの禁止」ということらしい。あまり一般のプレイヤーには関係はなさそう。

日本初の商用マイクラサーバーがで出来たらしい。

■日本初の商用ゲームサーバー・サービス「Micrafan サーバー」

今まで日本にはマインクラフトPE用に、商用としてのゲームサーバー・サービスが存在せず、離れた場所にいる友人とマインクラフトPEの対戦ゲームを遊ぶには、TwitterやWebで公開されている「鯖主(サバぬし)さん」と言われるような個人が運営するサーバーや、海外の商用サーバーにアクセスする必要がありました。今回「Micrafan サーバー」の運用開始により、Wi-FiやLTEなど、ネットワークにアクセスできる場所であればどこからでも気軽にサーバーの対戦ゲームを無料で楽しむことができるようになります。

Minecraft 1.10.2

Update: Version 1.10.2 is now available and fixes the crashes that many players experienced in Minecraft 1.10.1.

This is a smaller update taking care of some of the most annoying reported bugs. We are also planning to release another update for 1.10.x in a few weeks that takes care of some less critical but still annoying issues.

• [Bug MC-85162] – Slight player/mob offset when on Farmland Block

• [Bug MC-100333] – Entities from old (<= 1.5.2) worlds are killed when loaded in current versions due to a typo in the health data fixer
• [Bug MC-102072] – Structure Block: Unable to navigate in the “structure name” field of structure blocks, using the arrow-keys, pos1, end or the delete key
• [Bug MC-102867] – chat key bound to unicode char causes crash in creative inventory
• [Bug MC-103177] – Missing subtitles for polar bears, strays, husks, and wither skeletons
• [Bug MC-103497] – End Dragon Does not respawn

忘れ去っていた「The Minecraft movie」の存在だけど、最近公式ブログに出ていた話によると2019年の4月24日にリリース予定だとの事。しかもIMAX 3D なんだとか。

I know you’ve been thinking just about every day, “When’s the Minecraft movie coming out?” Luckily for you, we can finally say!

The Minecraft movie will be released on May 24, 2019! The film will also be released in 3D & IMAX.

Yes, that might seem like a long time away, but it just so happens to be the right amount of time to make it completely awesome. And we all want an awesome Minecraft movie, right?
