以前から何度か Mojang のブログで崩壊されていた「Minecraft: Story Mode」がリリースされたらしい。PC, Mac, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, そして iOSに対応しており、Steam などでも販売されてるようだ。恐らく現時点ではリリースされているのが英語版だと思うので、英語でもいい人向けかと。あと普通のマインクラフトではないので間違えないように購入時には注意した方が良いと思う。普通のマイクラと思って購入する人が結構出てしまうのでないかと。

Today is a very special day. Do you know why? No? Well then nevermind, it clearly isn’t important.
Oh, you’d like to know? Well, fine, I guess. It’s a snapshot day. There, happy now? You’ve gone and ruined all the surprise. I might as well just tell you exactly what’s in the snapshot then, and forgo any fun or mystery.
Notable changes:
- Added two new “treasure” enchantments: “Frost Walker” and “Mending”.
- Treasure enchantments cannot be created, only found.
- “Frost Walker” enchant leaves a path of frost (new block) behind you, when walking across water.
- “Mending” enchant allows items to stay durable, at a cost.
- Improved speed & handling of boats.
- Added new cost to using brewing stands.
- Fixed a bunch of bugs.
- Optimised a bunch of plugs.
- Drank from a bunch of jugs.

Update: We released a ‘b’ snapshot to fix a crash that affected some users on launch.
This week’s snapshot brings you the ability to smash out of the window of a high tower building, fly past the bad guys who are all shooting you with surprisingly bad accuracy, swoop down and land flawlessly into a strategically placed boat and then paddle away at moderately high speeds with the stolen prize pig in the back.
I’m not really sure what it all means, though.

The first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode is almost here! It’ll be available to download on October 13th which is less than two weeks away!
Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic game series from Telltale Games. You play as Jesse who (in a first from the studio) can be a male or female hero, and embark on an exciting adventure to save the world while learning about a group of legends known as The Order of the Stone.
Telltale’s games are more about story and characters than building and crafting, but the world of Story Mode will be familiar to anyone who’s played Minecraft. We’ve been working closely with our buddies at Telltale to make it feel as authentic as possible so, whether you’re a veteran crafter or a casual builder, Story Mode will warm the cockles of your hearts.
Minecraft: Story Mode will be available to download on PC, Mac, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, and iOS devices. You’ll also be able to get it on disc at the end of October if you prefer. That version comes with the first episode, and will grant access to the other four as they become available. Minecraft: Story Mode will also be coming to Wii U at a later date.

UPDATE: Version 15w40b is now available and it fixes the problem that it wasn’t possible to connect to servers.
This weeks snapshot brings some further changes to mob AI. We’ve sprayed every single cactus with animal repellant and hopefully this should keep your pets out of danger just a little bit longer.
I’ve also been working on boats, but that’s not ready yet!
Notable changes:
- Lots of changes to mob pathfinding.
- Changes to how health regenerates.
- Some bug fixes.

アップデート: バージョン 15w40b が現在利用可能になっています。snapshot 15w40b ではサーバーに接続できなくなる可能性があった問題を修正しました。
今週のスナップショットでは、一部の Mob の AI を変更しました。動物避けのサボテンをばら撒きました。出来れば、これは危険なので皆のペットを遠ざけておくべきです。
また、ボートについても取り組んでいますが、それは今回はまだ準備できていません。
主要な変更点:
動物避け?のサボテンというのが普通のサボテンなのか違うものなのかペットにどういう影響を及ぼすのかはよく分りません。

Hello!
You probably remember us talking about Minecraft: Story Mode back in December. It’s a narrative driven adventure made by Telltale Games which takes place in the world of Minecraft. Read on, crafter, because we finally have a release date!
The first Episode of Minecraft: Story Mode will be released on Tuesday October 13th this year. It’ll be called “The Order of The Stone” and will almost definitely be the best thing to happen in the whole of that month.
One of my favourite things about Story Mode is that you get to choose which type of Jessie – the main character – you want to play as, regardless of gender or look. That’s the first time any Telltale game has let you do that; it’s great that we can represent our playerbase so well.
Minecraft: Story Mode will be available on Xbox consoles, PlayStation consoles, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices. Wii U and Playstation Vita versions are also in the works, but they’ll release a bit later on.

前にした Minecraft: Story Mode についての話を、みんなは多分覚えていると思うけど、Telltale Games が作った Minecraft の世界で物語が進行するアドベンチャーモードの話について。気になる人は下を読んで欲しい。ついにリリースの日程が決定したんだ！
Minecraft: Story Mode の初めのエピソードは今年の10月13日（火）にリリースされる予定。これは “The Order of The Stone” と呼ばれている。10月に起きる出来事の中では、ほとんど最高の事になると思うよ。
ストーリーモードについて個人的に気に入っている一つとして Jessie （メインキャラクター）のタイプを選べて、プレーしたい性別や見た目で遊べる事があるよ。Telltale game のゲームとしては、これは初めての事。これは凄い事だね。

Minecraft: Story Mode は XBOX、プレイステーション、PC、Mac、iOS、そして android で利用できるようにする予定。WiiU と Playstation Vita バージョンについても取り組んでいるけど、こっちに関しては少し遅いリリースになると思う。

フリーのアンチウィルスソフトとして割と人気がある Avira が Minecraft をウィルスとして検出する問題があるらしい。Minecraft のファーラムでも報告されており、Avira のアップデートによって誤検出されているのではないかという話だが定かではない。

- Hardcore mode no longer deletes your world on death; instead you may spectate it.
- Added new gamerule to disable chunk generation for spectators.
- Allowed the bow to be shot from off-hand.

We hope you enjoyed Doki Doki Compatibility Quest: 3. It took up a lot of resources (all typos and bugs are intentional). Extra special thanks to Stephen Velema for letting us use his nostalgic tunes.
Doki Doki Compatibility Quest III was created in celebration of our latest update to Minecraft Pocket Edition and the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta.
Patch 0.12.1 is packed with content, but one of the most exciting things is that you can now play cross-platform. That means a Windows 10 Edition Beta player can jump into their friend’s world, even if they’re playing on a phone or tablet.
One of our long-term goals for Minecraft is to bring our community closer, and give as many players as possible a chance to play together. This is a small step towards that goal.
Play locally
If you’re on the same network, just enable “Local Server Multiplayer” on the options screen. Available games will show up in the Play menu.Play online
If you’re extra clever, it’s even possible to play with your friends across the world through the medium of the internet. Unfortunately, setting this up might only work if you have direct access to your router and familiarity with the often frustrating and slightly sad activity known as Port Forwarding. Attempt with caution, crafters.Online play is something of a work in progress. That said, it’s pretty cool if you get it set up. Click Play, then New, then the funny little plus-sign-arrow-thing in the corner, and add the name and IP address of the server you want to join. Good luck!
What else is in the update?
- The Nether and all its inhabitants. Fight Ghasts and make friends with Pigmen
- Cross platform play for up to five players between Pocket Edition and Windows 10
- Revamped touch controls, controller support, and a controller mapping screen
- Enhanced Weather effects! Accumulating snow and more
- Zombie Villagers can now have professions like farmers or butchers
- Ocelots! Try taming one with a fish
- Experience, Anvils, Brewing, and enchantments. Time to up your game, crafter
- Golems. We recommend you approach with caution
- Flower pots. We recommend you fill them with flowers
- Sneaking and sprinting! Express yourself through movement!
- Loads of bug fixes that are too boring to list here.

みんなが 「Doki Doki Compatibility Quest 3」（ドキドキコンパチビリティクエスト）を楽しんでくれるといいな。これには沢山の手間（全ての誤字脱字とバグは全てわざとだから）をかけたんだ。Stephen Velema には特別感謝している。彼のノスタルジックな音楽を使わせてもらった。
「Doki Doki Compatibility Quest III」は私たちの Minecraft Pocket Edition と Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta の新しいアップデートを記念して作られた。
パッチ 0.12.1 にパックされた内容で、最も興奮する事は皆がクロスプラットフォームで遊ぶ事が出来るようになった所だ。これは、もしタブレットやスマホで友達がプレーしていたとしても、Windows 10 Edition Beta のプレイヤーが友達のワールドに飛び込む事が出来るようになったという意味。
Minecraft において、私たちの長期的なゴール（目標）の一つに、コミュニティをより近づけ、そして可能な限り沢山のプレイヤーが一緒に遊ぶチャンスを作る事がある。これはゴールに向けた小さな一歩だ。
ローカルで遊ぶ
もし君たちが同じネットワーク上にいるならば、「ローカルサーバーでマルチプレー」をオプション画面で enable にするだけでいい。メニューにゲームが表示されるようになる。
オンラインで遊ぶ
もし、君たちがもう少し賢いなら、インターネットを通じて君の友達と一緒にプレーする事さえ出来る。不幸な事に、もしルーターなどの類へアクセスする場合は、「ポートの解放」として知られているフラストレーションの溜まって少し悲しいアクティビティをして設定した時しか機能しないかもしれない。試す時は慎重にやってほしいクラフターの諸君。
オンラインプレーにはいくらかの作業が必要。誰かが言ったけど「これはとてもクールなんだ。もしみんながセットアップできる出来るならば」。Play をクリック、その後 New をクリック、それから小さいプラスの矢印をコーナーに、そして君たちが参加したいサーバーの IP アドレスと名前を加える。後は幸運を祈る!

- [Bug MC-83040] – Two Handed Map Bug: Offhand map doesn’t update
- [Bug MC-87871] – Iron Golem attacks peaceful mobs and player for no reason
- [Bug MC-87878] – End Void does not deal damage to the player / Can’t fall into the void
- [Bug MC-87916] – Server warning: Tried to assign a mutable BlockPos to tick data
- [Bug MC-87979] – Hopper: java.lang.NullPointerException: Starting integrated server

Update: Snapshot 15w36b has been released to fix some crashing, some smaller tweaks to AI and armour calculations.
It’s wednesday again – really wednesday this time, not a phony monwednesday! This can only mean three things – but we only care about the second possibility… snapshot!
Notable changes:
- Rebalanced armour.
- Changed damage & protection enchantments to match new armour system.
- Fixed a few AI bugs across lots of mobs.
- Made endermen creepy again.
- Vwooop.
- More optimisations! Many optimisations!
- Added player collision again.
- Fishing rods can now catch entities properly again.
- Added team-based options for collision.
- The world may corrupt slightly less times now! Or slightly more, we’re not sure!

また水曜日（注：省略したけど、少し前のアップデートで水曜日に関するネタが書かれていた）。今回は本当の水曜日、偽の月水曜日ではない！これは三つの事をいみしているが、私たちは二つ目の可能性についてだけ気をつかっている・・・スナップショット！
主な変更点:
上に出ている水曜日ネタは少し前に書かれていたのでは DinnerBone だったかが曜日を間違えていたという話し。このアップデートの投稿も主な変更点が途中からオカシイ感じになっている。恐らく今大変忙しくアップデートをしている事は間違いないだろう。
